Hill Country Flyer
512 477 8468, (http://www.austinsteamtra...). A scenic 2-hour train ride through the Hill Country and into Austin, especially scenic during mid-spring when the hills are covered in bluebonnets. Normally pulled by an old steam engine which is currently under restoration. In the meantime the route still runs, pulled by a 60s diesel engine.
